How do I install the Bleep proxy?

Download the installer from your dashboard, run it, and enter your license key when prompted. The proxy will automatically configure itself. See our installation guide for detailed steps.
Does Bleep slow down my AI requests?

Bleep adds just 2-4ms of overhead per request (about 1-2% increase). Our Rust-based detection engine is optimized for real-time processing with consistent P99 latency. See the benchmark data in our Best Practices docs.
What happens when sensitive data is detected?

Based on your policy settings, Bleep can block the request entirely, redact the sensitive data while allowing the request, or log the event for review while allowing the request through.
Can I customize what data patterns are detected?

Yes. You can create custom detection patterns using regex or our pattern builder. You can also adjust the sensitivity of built-in patterns or disable them entirely.
Is my data stored by Bleep?

We do not store the content of your requests. Only metadata about detections is logged for audit purposes. The actual sensitive data found is never stored or transmitted to our servers.
How do I add more seats to my subscription?

Go to Dashboard > Billing and click "Manage subscription". You can add seats at any time and will be charged prorated for the remainder of your billing period.
